Cycle Route from Pewsey to Marlborough
One of our supporters, Annie Furu, has explored the cycle route from Pewsey to Marlborough and has kindly put together a description as well as a map.

Bike Route Pewsey – Marlborough, 8 miles, 40 minutes.
- Follow Burbage Road B3087 east out of Pewsey.
- Turn left after about 1 mile signposted towards New Mill and Wootton Rivers.
- After 1 mile turn left at the T-junction in New Mill. At Clench, after about 1 mile, as the road veers hard right there is another intersection; turn left.
- After 1 mile take left at the next junction.
- Stay on this road “beware of the killer hill” until you reach A345 from Pewsey to Marlborough.
- Turn right onto A345 towards Marlborough.
- Stay on A345 for about 1 mile before you turn left towards Manton.
- When you get to the T-junction in Manton, turn right. Stay on this road for about 200 yards.
- Follow the road around to the left with The Outside Chance pub on the corner to your left, then turn right after the corner down a road signposted as a dead end.
- This turns into a tarmac path to your left after a grand house, through a grave yard and it takes you into to Marlborough centre.
